How Prospect Operations Work
Learn how the system finds new prospects, recommends next actions, and hands qualified work to the operator.
Purpose
Prospect operations help the operator find and engage new prospects who fit the motion. This is the most direct path to new outbound opportunities.
What the system does
- Works from the motion’s premise, targeting, and sender path.
- Finds people or companies worth reviewing.
- Prepares context and recommends the safest next action.
- Keeps work moving until the operator needs to decide, approve, or respond.
What the operator does
- Rejects weak fits quickly instead of letting them pollute the queue.
- Confirms that the recommended next action makes sense for the actual person and context.
- Uses manual overrides when the system is being too conservative or missing a better move.
- Moves live replies into inbox handling instead of continuing to think of them as queue items.
The handoff surface
The operator queue is the normal handoff surface for prospect operations. It is where the system says, “this person is ready, and this is the next move I think is safest.” The operator either accepts that read or corrects it. When the next move uses LinkedIn or email, automation runs through the assigned sender's connected account unless the operator explicitly chooses a one-off manual sender for that action.
What good looks like
- The queue contains real people worth reviewing, not a broad backlog swamp.
- Next-action recommendations are understandable in plain language.
- Rejected or nurtured prospects leave the active path quickly.
- Conversations move into Inbox once they become real dialogue.
Agent contract
- Use: answer questions about prospect discovery, review, rejection, next actions, and handoff to live conversations.
- Inputs: motion, prospect, list, owner, sender path, current stage, and latest meaningful event.
- Surfaces: Operator, Next Actions, Lists & Pipeline, Inbox, Dashboard, and Audienti CLI prospect commands.
- Verify: confirm the prospect is in the intended motion or list, the next action is explainable, and replies move to Inbox.
- Never: keep bad-fit prospects active or treat live replies as ordinary queue recommendations.
